Rosa Rosa
A married woman has an affair. She gets pregnant by her lover and they live serenely together, although war is thundering towards their city. Despite lineups, traffic jams and shortages they manage to live a peaceful life with their little girl. Rosa Rosa is the interweaving of individual and collective fates via a love story told by the couple themselves. It consists partly of reworked photos, the images superimposed on each other to create a stylized realism in which public and private spaces overlap. With its evocative soundtrack and plain, simple narration, Rosa Rosa offers a touching look at happiness in hard times.
